London Borough Of Tower Hamlets Seeks To Appoint A Suitable Provider To Deliver The Employment And Skills Support For Adults With Learning Disability And Invites Providers To Tender For The Contract. The Service Will Be Focused On Supporting Adults With Learning Disability To Undertake Skills Development Training And Volunteering To Enable Them To Have The Skills To Obtain A Job, Such As Delivering Advice And Information, Training, Volunteering, And Work Experience Delivered Directly Or Supported By The Provider To Access. The Service Will Also Support People To Find And Secure A Job As Identified In Their Job Plans/Vocational Profile. This Includes Brokering Jobs With A Range Of Employers, Advocating For Adjustments In The Workplace, Supporting Employers And People To Undertake ‘Working Interviews’, Supporting People Via Job Coaches To Learn Their Job In The Workplace, And Provide In-Work Support As And When Required. The Contract Will Be For An Initial Period Of 3 Years With Two Possible Extension Periods Of 1 Year Each, Making The Possible Contract Terms Of 5 Years.
