The project is a refurbishment scheme, upgrading an existing wing of the school to accommodate SEN students. The attached proposal has been designed in accordance with the recommendations of School Design Guide SDG-02-04 and School Design Guide TDG-026.The following facilities have been provided    Safe teaching area for special needs students including- (70sqm) ; 3600mm Life Skills Kitchenette ;Built in storage wall and Interactive Whiteboard; 6 individual learning spaces; Direct access to Unisex Assisted User Toilet has been provided, (4.7sqm) o Direct access to safe space, (10sqm) o Direct access to storage, (2 sqm) & access to crawl space above safe space; Direct access to external play area (60sqm) This also provides a separate entrance for SEN students if required. ;multi-sensory room ;Storage; Hallway with inbuilt cloak storage
