The centre will be located at the current Sligo Business Centre in the Market Yard, Sligo. The existing building was renovated in 1983 to provide small office and retail spaces. The building is constructed with stone walls at the ground floor and masonry cavity walls at first floor. The first floor is a precast concrete construction supported off concrete columns and beams. The existing roof is formed with steel trusses and intermediate timber rafters with a flat pan tile finish. 

The renovation of the building will consist of the reconfiguration of the internal spaces to reflect the needs of modern office spaces. The entrance will have a new open entrance foyer and reception enclosed by a new glazed curtain wall ing the space to the external Market Yard. The adjacent retail space will be ed to the new entrance foyer to provide enterprise offices. The existing stairs are being retained giving access to the upper storey, where the office spaces will be re-configured. A new canteen space with new glazed curtain wall will form a bright collaborative space. There will be new mechanical and electrical installations throughout the building. The building will have improvements in insulation and energy efficiency to bring it up to current standards.
