GMIT wish to award a contract under the open procedure for works comprising of the supply and installation of Emergency Lighting and Fittings, commissioning etc. across 2 campuses and several buildings at the following locations: 

Site Locations:

a) GMIT Dublin Road Galway Campus - 1972 1976 Buildings

b) GMIT Dublin Road Galway Campus - 2003 Building

c) GMIT Dublin Road Galway Campus – iHub 

d) GMIT Dublin Road Galway Campus – Miscellaneous 

e) GMIT CCAM Campus, Monivea Road Galway. 

The works mainly involves replacing like for like fittings e.g. a Box exit light for new box exit light, however in some cases new fittings will be installed beside existing light fittings eg 5w recessed spot in place of the recessed round 2 x 26w fittings, or surface mounted bulk head in place of 4ft/5ft fluorescents. Where new fittings are to be installed beside existing, contractor to include for any conduits / containment etc necessary to facilitate the install.
