Møre og Romsdal County is responsible for ensuring that broadband development with public support in 9 municipalities is announced as a joint contest, in accordance with the public procurement regulations and the government support rules.

Therefore Møre og Romsdal fylkeskommune [Møre og Romsdal County] is the contracting authority for the tender, but it is the individual municipality, cf. point 1.2.1 in the tender documentation, that is the contracting party and responsible for their sub-project.

The assignment comprises development in 9 different municipalities. Each municipality is defined as a sub-project, with the exception of Sunndal Municipality, which has two sub-projects.

A municipality can have the development split between several sub-areas, but tenders must be given for all the sub-areas within a municipality/sub-project.

The contract is subject to approval and financing the costs in each municipal council, and that the tender is within the resources that have been set aside for the project. If there is limited financing, the contracting authority for each sub-project is fee to cancel the contest.
