1. The Local Government Unit of Talaingod, Davao del Norte intends to apply the sum of Eighty Nine Million Pesos Only (Php 89,000,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the Contract on Purchase of Heavy Equipment. Bids in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

2. The Local Government Unit of Talaingod now invites bids for Purchase of Heavy Equipment. Delivery of goods is required within seven calendar days upon issuance of the Notice to Proceed (NTP). Bidders should have completed within 10 years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, at least two (2) similar contracts, the aggregate amount of which should be equivalent to at least 50% of the ABC. The deion of an Eligible Bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly in Section II, Instruction to Bidders.

3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail”criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.

4. Interested bidders may obtain further information from the Municipal Government of Talaingod, Davao del Norte and inspect the Bid Documents at the address given below from 8:00 am- 5:00 pm from February 19, 2022 to March 7, 2022.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non refundable fee of Fifty Thousand Pesos Only (Php 50,000.00).

6. The Municipal Government of Talaingod will hold a Pre- Bid Conference on February 24, 2022 at 10:00 AM, at the BAC Office, Municipal Hall, Balimba Hills, Sto. Niἡo, Talaingod, Davao del Norte.

7. Interested Bidders must submit their Bids at the address below on or before March 8, 2022 at 9:00 AM. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the form indicated in the Bid Documents. Late Bids shall not be accepted. Bid Opening shall be at 10:00 AM of March 8, 2022. Bids will be opened in the presence of the Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 10:00 AM, March 8, 2022.

8. The Municipal Government of Talaingod, Davao del Norte reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
