germany-wessling: specialist training services./ flight test training cl2 (“cat 2”)./ this tender is to specify a training course to obtain an easa certified flight test training of the competence level 2 (commonly referred to as “category 2” or “cat 2”) for a flight test engineer. the training shall enable the engineer to perform duties and exercise privileges as lead flight test engineer of the said competence level on fixed wing aircraft. requirements stated herein are the minimum requirements and follow the amc of easa. exceedance of those requirements in terms of flight hours or course content are acceptable. an evaluation regarding costs and other factors such as employee absence for the training or sustainability are not part of these requirements. the training shall be compliant to enable the course attendee to perform lfte duties of competence level 2 (cl 2) compliant to annex i (part-21) appendix xii of regulation (eu) no 748/2012. the course content shall be compliant to agency decision ed decision 2015/026/r (amc no 1 to appendix xii – training courses for lead flight test engineers (lftes)). it shall at least comply to the requirements of a competence level 2 course. the entity offering the course (furthermore called “test pilot school” or tps) shall be an easa approved training organization (ato) with the privilege to offer and conduct test pilot training for at least category 2 flight test training for fixed wing aircraft.
