germany-bonn: government services./ implementation and support of the project circular euro 2024./ the german football association (dfb) already published a sustainability concept for the euro 24 in 2018, in which environmental protection is one of the guiding principles. in addition to the sustainable design of euro 2024 by uefa, the dfb and the host cities, the behavior of the fans in particular has a significant influence on waste avoidance, waste separation and thus on resource consumption. to inform and sensitize visitors to football matches in stadiums, the fan zones and other events as part of euro 2024, a joint waste management concept is to be developed by uefa, dfb, stadiums, host cities & euro 2024 gmbh ( joint venture between uefa and dfb for tournament organization) are created and implemented. this should be accompanied and communicated, among other things. also through a video campaign on the subject of circular economy and resource conservation.
