germany-nuremberg: construction-related services./ project management for the redesign of plärrer in nuremberg./ today, the plärrer is of central importance both as a traffic junction for individual traffic and public transport and as an urban space between gostenhof and the old town. all previous measures on this square were d primarily on the infrastructural and traffic requirements. due to these complex requirements, all other demands that could be made of such a central urban space, such as use as a town square, as a meeting place or for representational purposes, took a back seat. as a result of this purely traffic-related perspective of the 1970s, a place emerged that is dominated by traffic and is unsatisfactory in terms of both design and function. a higher-level concept d on human proportions, which integrates and organizes all these elements, is missing. since the ceiling of the subway building under the plärrer is in need of renovation and the sealing is behind, it has to be completely exposed. the necessary construction work is the reason for the redesign of the plärrer.
