Liverpool City Council has established a new Education Improvement Board and is finalising the city’s education improvement plan that has a renewed focus on its education system and performance. As part of this plan we are seeking to invest in additional support to improve reading and phonics in early years.
Our focus is on the development of oracy, fluency and comprehension in reading. We are keen to find out more about programmes that are supported by training and development for staff throughout the programme.
