Scottish Government announced funding in August 2019 for qualified counsellors to be delivering counselling in schools for pupils aged over 10. An initial phase of implementation has taken place and full implementation is scheduled for November 2020. Angus Council, Dundee City Council and Perth and Kinross Council agreed to proceeding with the procurement exercise on a Tayside wide basis, aligning with the development of a Tayside Mental Health strategy.
