s of interest are required from suitably qualified and experienced specialist consultants who wish to tender to assist in the management and control of asbestos within NHSBT property, by the undertaking of asbestos management surveys in a number of properties owned or leased by NHSBT. The appointed surveyor will be required to identify and prioritise recommendations on any remedial works which are identified during the survey. The ive of the asbestos surveys will involve a material assessment of asbestos containing materials (ACMs) that may be disturbed or damaged during normal activities, maintenance or through the installation of new equipment. One of the main ives of these surveys is to assess the ability of ACMs to release dangerous asbestos fibres into the air, if disturbed or damaged.
