Croydon Health Services NHS trust (CHS) wish to renew the fire damper actuators and associated controls & monitoring, hereafter referred to as the Smoke Ventilation, Control & Indication (SVCI) installation on the London Wing Surgical & General Ventilation plant at the Croydon University Hospital (CUH) site. This is in order to achieve a smoke control strategy for the ventilation plant that aids evacuation and firefighting within Critical Care Areas and general wards. This document sets out the service and project contractual requirements of the CHS & the standards of design, documentation and workmanship required.
