The site of the proposed works is the Achill Outdoor Education & Training Centre, Cashel, Achill located northwest of Achill Sound on the R319 to Bunacurry/Keel/Dooagh.  Eircode - F28 H7F2.  The site is in the functional area of Mayo County Council.
The project shall include:
Removal of part of existing flat roof finishes, preparation of flat roofs, insulation uPVC membrane, flashings etc…asscoiated with new roof finishes.  Establishment of a safe builder's compound and completion and handover of the works to the contracting authority.
Handing over of O&M /Safety File Manuals to the Architect. All works to be completed to first quality trade standards leaving a clean and fully finished and furnished building.
The Contractor shall note that the works will be undertaken when the education centre is in use.  The Contractor must take account of this fact and the likely restrictions that will result in terms of sequencing works and programming.   The costs associated with such restrictions shall be deemed to be included in the Contract Sum.
The Contractor shall also note the the works will be carried out during the global COVID 19 pandemic.  Contractor must execute the works with due cognisance of government and department of health guidance in relation to suppressing the spread of this virus through appropriately safe work practices.
The Contractor should note the extent and layout of the works from the Architect's drawings.
The tenderers attention is drawn to the requirements of the Building Control Acts 1990 and 2007, Building Control Regulations 1997 to 2014 and Building Regulations 1997 to 2014. The tender submitted must include for all work carried out and must be in accordance with all the requirements of the above.
