Somerset County Council is planning to engage a number of apprentices over the next 3 years in support of its Somerset Skills for Growth project. Somerset County Council is seeking to appoint a number of apprenticeship service providers for the supply and training of apprentices that consistently meet the standards required. In addition Somerset County Council will utilise apprenticeship training for residents of Somerset.

The apprenticeships, to be provided via this procurement exercise, are funded via the Council’s Apprenticeship Levy, which has been used as match-funding in a wider bid to the European Social Fund (ESF) Programme, to deliver the Somerset Skills for Growth Project.
