SOLAS National Innovation requests tenders from suitably experienced and qualified tenderers to provide services for the delivery of a number of online action planning and company skills profiling/training needs analysis, and development workshops for ETB staff.

For the FET sector, enterprise engagement embraces relationship building, partnership working and, ultimately, more systematic involvement of employers in the planning, design and delivery of relevant FET provision. FET leaders increasingly identify the need for FET practitioners to play an effective role in enterprise engagement and identify this area as a key skill requirement.  

Considerable consultation has taken place within the sector to identify the needs of ETBs in relation to enterprise engagement.

In order to address identified needs, several pilot workshops in action planning and skills profiling/training needs analysis have already been rolled out to the ETBs.

Further workshops in these areas are now required to support the FET sector’s continuing engagement with enterprise in relation to skills development needs of employees.

SOLAS is seeking consultancy assistance and expertise for the facilitation of the following supports for ETB staff:
i.    Action planning workshops for ETB senior management and their teams
ii.    Company skills profiling / training needs analysis workshops for ETB staff engaged with enterprise.

These enterprise engagement supports will be delivered via online and blended learning methods to relevant ETB staff using an appropriate video conferencing tool which will be supplied and facilitated by the successful vendor.
