2.1    The project shall consist (in summary of):

(a)    Demolition works including :

•    Removal of internal walls as indicated
•    Break out doors and windows as indicated
•    Remove ceiling from existing building areas as indicated
•    Remove external walls, windows, and doors as indicated (when unoccupied)
•    Removal of existing ramp and associated rails etc
•    Strip off portion of roof to facilitate roof of extension
•    Re-routing of portion of ground services to facilitate extension

(b)    Construction works including:
•    Construction of a single story extension and all associated services
•    New ceiling to existing building in areas indicated
•    Works to existing building as indicated, to include making good all internal finishes due to blocking up, breaking out work (walls, doors and windows) including existing floors and ceilings
•    New external doors and windows fitted as per specification
•    New stud walls, doors, floors as indicated
•    New flooring as indicated
•    New ceilings as indicated
•    New timber d bin enclosure
•    New disabled and staff WCs as indicated
•    Decoration as per finishes schedule
•    Builders works and all attendances associated with services

(c)    Services
•    Services as outlined on drawing to extension and existing
•    Removal and re-installation of lights, smoke alarms, exit signs etc. to existing building
•    Commissioning of smoke alarm system, emergency lights, exit signs to existing and proposed
•    Electrical RECI or ECTI certification of extension and existing
•    New Kitchen extract system to be extended to include new kitchen

(d)    All associated site works including
    
•    Construction of new steps and ramps with enclosing walls and galvanized railings as indicated
•    tactile paving at top & bottom of steps
•    50mm contrasting material non-slip nose slip to steps
•    Acco channels where indicated
•    Concrete path to rear of building as indicated to merge with existing
•    Gravelled areas made good
•    Re-routing of existing and connection of new underground pipework to exist
