⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement :
A Kobe Academic Information System for Education and Research supports the education and research activities for the approximately 36,000 university members.
B The subsystems and services provided by this system includes the followings : Integrated user management system, User authentication system, Authentication federation system, Personal mail system, Education system, KAISER network system, etc.
C Integrated user management system provides the user account management function for all university members and the management functions for the above services.
D User authentication system and Authentication federation system provide the user authentication function to ICT systems in the university.
E Personal mail system provides the electronic mail function for all university members.
F The educational system, which should be used with the Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), provides a machine-independent educational support environment. BYOD is a program that students using their personal devices for educational purposes in Kobe University.
G KAISER network system is used to connect the equipments of this system which is integrated with the other university ICT systems through the Kobe University Hyper Academic Network (KHAN).
