INVITATION TO BID FOR THE PROCUREMENT OF OFFICE EQUIPMENT AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY

1. The Municipal Government of Sto. Nino through the Bids & Awards Committee intends to apply the sum of THREE HUNDRED SIXTY FOUR THOUSAND PESOS (PhP364,000.00) being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments for the PROCUREMENT OF OFFICE EQUIPMENT AND INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY under the Office of the Municipal Vice-Mayor and Office of the Sangguniang Bayan . Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

2. The Municipal Government of Sto. Nino now invites bids for the above mentioned project. Delivery of goods is required within ten calendar days (10). Bidders should have completed at least one (1) contract that is similar to this project/s, equivalent to at least fifty percent (50%) of the ABC. The deion of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly in Section II. Instruction to Bidders.

3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary pass/fail criterion as specified in the Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act of 9184 (RA 9184), otherwise known as “Government Procurement Reform Act”.

4. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Pesos Only (PhP500.00). Bidders can make payments for the purchase of the Bidding Documents at the Office of the Municipal Treasurer.

5. Bids must be delivered at the Office of the Mayor, Executive Building, Municipal Hall Compound, Sto. Nino, Cagayan and will be opened in the presence of the bidder’s representatives who choose to attend. All bids must be accompanied by one (1) form of Bid Security taken from two (2) acceptable forms: 1.) BID SECURING DECLARATION as provided in the section 27.5 of the Revised IRR of R.A. 9184, “OR” 2.) SURETY BOND callable upon demand issued by a surety or insurance company duly certified by the Insurance Commission as authorized to issue such security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the ABC, pursuant to Department Memorandum Circular No. 15, Series of 2014. Late Bids shall not be accepted.

6. The Municipal Government of Sto. Nino reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability or obligation to the affected bidder or bidders.
