1. The Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) and Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC), through the PITC AR Nos. TL-2018-146, TL-2018-147, TL-2018-149, TL-2018-149, TL-2018-150 and TL-2018-151 dated 13 November 2018 intend to apply the sum of the following lots being the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) to payments under the contracts for each lot. Bids received in excess of the ABC for each lot shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.

2. The Philippine International Trading Corporation (PITC) and Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) now invite bids for the above Procurement Project. Bidders may bid for one, some or all items. Delivery of the Goods is within Sixty (60) calendar days upon receipt of Notice to Proceed.

Delivery Place: Property Section, Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center, B. Rodriguez St., Cebu City.

Bidders should have completed, within the last five (5) years from the date of submission and receipt of bids, a contract similar to the Project amounting to at least fifty percent (50%) of the item being. The deion of an eligible bidder is contained in the Bidding Documents, particularly, in Section II (Instructions to Bidders).

“Similar contract” shall mean “Medical Equipment”

3. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using a non-discretionary “pass/fail” criterion as specified in the 2016 revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (IRR) of Republic Act (RA) No. 9184.

PITC and VSMMC now invite bids from authorized dealers, distributors or resellers for the Supply, Delivery, Installation and Testing of One (1) Set Ultrasound Machine, Four (4) Sets Anesthesia Machine, Three (3) Units Electrocautery Machine and One (1) Lot Operating Table and Operating Room Lights for Vicente Sotto Memorial Medical Center (VSMMC) (hereafter referred to as GOODS).

Bidding is restricted to Filipino citizens / sole proprietorships, partnerships, or organization with at least sixty percent (60%) interest or outstanding capital stock belonging to citizens of the Philippines, and to citizen or organizations of a country the laws or regulations of which grant similar rights or privileges to Filipino citizen, pursuant to RA No. 5183.

4. Prospective Bidders may obtain further information from Philippine International Trading Corporation and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below from Monday to Friday between 9:00AM to 2:00PM.

5. A complete set of Bidding Documents may be acquired by interested Bidders starting 31 March 2021 from the given address and website(s) below and upon payment of the applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in a non-refundable amount fee. The Procuring Entity shall allow the bidder to present its proof of payment for the fees through electronic means (bac1secretariat@pitc1973.onmicrosoft.com).

Bidders who previously bought bidding documents for Bid Reference No. GPG-B1-2019-319 may acquire the Bidding Documents free of charge upon presentation of official receipt.

6. The Philippine International Trading Corporation will hold a Pre-Bid Conference on 07 April 2021, Wednesday, 3:00PM through video conferencing or webcasting via Zoom, which shall be open to prospective bidders.

Bidders are encouraged to send their authorized technical representatives or personnel who` are familiar with the bid requirements and who will prepare the documents for the bidder.

7. Bids must be duly received by the BAC Secretariat through manual submission at the office address indicated below,
