Carlow County Council invites tenders from Civil Engineering led design team for the design and construction of a river crossing between Clonegal and Kildavin, Co Carlow. The successful tenderer will be responsible for the preliminary design, planning process, detailed design, project costing, tendering, PSDP and delivery of scheme. The Project Management Design Team should include the following disciplines/services:

• Civil/Structural Engineering Services

• Ecologist

• Planning Services

• PSDP

The purpose of this document is to provide prospective consultants with information regarding the scope of service to be provided and invite technical proposals from Civil Engineering led project management design teams with suitable experience of successfully completing similar type projects. This document forms part of the Request for Tender (RFT) suite for this invitation and should be read in conjunction with those documents as detailed in Section 11 of this document.

The selected consultant shall provide the complete range of services outlined (including drawings, environmental reports and all other relevant information required for the Planning process), tender drawings, construction drawings and details, detailed design calculations, complete Bill of Quantities, (for tendering and construction purposes) and project delivery All of the documentation must meet current standards and statutory requirements. The tender package will comply with and be d on procurement of Government Contracts.

The appointed consultant will be required to provide services for Stage (i) and Stage (v) as described in this brief and the attached Tender and Schedule, and other Request for Tender (RFT) documents.
