Through this tender, the Finnish Immigration Service will procure the translation services for the confidential documents it needs.
This is a follow-up tender d on a previously competitive tender for the translation of confidential documents for those language pairs for which no tenders were received in the previous tender.
Confidential documents are texts that contain confidential information. The texts to be translated are mainly official documents, but can also be text produced by the person in the asylum process himself.
The length of the texts varies from short identity documents to multi-page legal documents.
The texts to be translated require special skills. The translator must be familiar with the culture of the source language and the terminology of the authorities, as well as the legal system. The translator must also know the Finnish authority field so that the correctness of the translations is ensured.
The translator must be able to use Finnish and internationally accepted terms and spellings in translations.
The handling of confidential documents to be translated must comply with the requirements of the Security Agreement.
Salassa pidettäviä asiakirjoja ei voi kääntää auditoimattomissa tiloissa, kuten esim. kotona, vaan asiakirjat tulee kääntää toimittajan auditoidussa tilassa.
Tarjouspyynnössä esitetyt tiedot käännettävien asiakirjojen määristä ovat arvioita. Tilaaja ei siten sitoudu esitettyihin määriin ja käännöksiä tilataan sopimuskauden aikana aina kulloisenkin tarpeen mukaan.

Infotilaisuus tietoturvasta
Halukkaille tarjoajille järjestetään etänä pidettävä infotilaisuus tietoturvasta 7.5.2021 klo 9.00—10.00. Tilaisuus järjestetään Microsoft Teams -videoneuvottelupalvelun välityksellä.
Tilaisuus tallennetaan. Tallenteeseen on mahdollisuus tutustua myöhemmin, mikäli tarjoaja ei voi osallistua infotilaisuuteen.
