⑴ Contracting entity : Junichi Shimizu, Managing Director, The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai.
⑵ Classification number of the product to be procured : 26
⑶ Nature and quantity of the services to be purchased : Electricity to be used at The Japan Foundation Japanese-Language Institute, Kansai : about 900,000kWh per year
⑷ Delivery period : From September 1, 2021, to August 31, 2022
⑸ Delivery place : As shown in the tender documentation.
⑹ Qualification for participating in the tendering procedures : Suppliers eligible for participating in the proposed tender are those who shall :
① not fall under Articles 16 and 18 of the Japan Foundation's Rules for the operation of accounting.
② have a Grade A or B classification in the area of "Sales," in terms of the qualification for participating in tenders (single qualification for every ministry and agency) for fiscal years 2019, 2020, and 2021.
③ not be currently under suspension of nomination by the Executive Vice President of the Japan Foundation.
④ have permission to operate as a retail electric enterprise in accordance with Article 2, Section 2 of the Electricity Business Act.
⑤ fulfill the requirement mentioned in the tender manual that are stated from the viewpoint of reducing CO, introduction of renewable energy and so on.
⑺ Date of tender : 5 : 00 P.M. July 21, 2021.
