1. The Department of Tourism (hereinafter called “Procuring Entity” has received financing (hereinafter called “funds”) from General Appropriations Act 2021 (hereinafter called the “Funding Source”) toward the cost of Procurement of Consulting Services of a Local Media Planning, Buying, and Placements Agency for the Department of Tourism. The Procuring Entity intends to apply a portion of the funds in the amount of Two Hundred Five Million Two Hundred Thousand Pesos (PhP205,200,000.00), classified in accordance with the following lots and respective ABC, to eligible payments under the contract for DOT-BAC-REI No. 2021-007 for which the Bidding Documents is issued:

2. The Procuring Entity now invites bids to provide the following Consulting Services: an experienced agency to develop and implement integrated media plan targeting the travelers of (1) Greater Manila Area and (2) Visayas and Mindanao, focusing on Metro Cebu and Metro Davao, thru traditional and digital mediums to promote domestic tourism and restore the confidence of Filipinos to travel once again. More details on the services are provided in the Terms of Reference (TOR) for the project.

3. The Consultant shall be selected and employed in accordance with Quality-d Evaluation (QBE) procedures as described in the Bidding Documents.

5. It is not permissible for you to transfer this invitation to any other consultant.

6. The Bidding Documents may be acquired at the 4th Floor, Procurement Management Division Office, DOT Bldg., No. 351 Sen. Gil Puyat Avenue, Makati City. from May 21 to June 9, 2021 (8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m) and June 10, 2021 (until (9:00 a.m.) upon payment of an applicable fee for the Bidding Documents, pursuant to the latest Guidelines issued by the GPPB, in the amount of PhP 25,000.00 per lot or a total of PhP 50,000.00 for all the two (2) lots.
