The Resort Municipality of Whistler (RMOW) is inviting qualified consultants (Proponents) to provide a proposal for the condition assessment of the Wastewater Treatment Plant's (WWTP) four primary sedimentation tanks. The WWTP plant is equipped with four rectangular primary sedimentation tanks (PST). These tanks are all located in the Primary building. Each tank is 31.5 meters by 6.0 meters and a depth of 3.2 meters. The combined total surface area is 756 square meters. The four tanks are considered adequate for the plant's current design flow. Influent flow to the plant varies significantly between the winter and summer months. Through discussions with operations at the plant maintenance issues have been identified, therefore the RMOW is seeking to complete an assessment to determine the extent of the issues.
