The Local Government Unit of Valderrama, Antique through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC), invites suppliers to apply for eligibility and to bid for the hereunder project:

Name of Project : PROCUREMENT OF ONE (1)-UNIT PICK-UP TO BE USED BY THE MUNICIPAL DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND MANAGEMENT OFFICE (MDRRMO).

Brief Deion: Purchase of one (1) unit pick-up.

Approved Budget for the Contract: ₱1,900,000.00 (Bids received in excess of the ABC shall be automatically rejected at bid opening.)

Delivery Period: Thirty (30) calendar days

Prospective Bidders must have experience of having completed one (1) contract that is similar to the contract to be bid, and whose value, adjusted to current prices using the NSO consumer price indices with a value at least 50% of the Approved Budget for the Contract (ABC) and have key personnel and equipment available for the implementation of the contract. Bidding will be conducted through open competitive bidding procedures using non-discretionary “pass/fail” criteria as specified in the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (Revised IRR) of Republic Act No. 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Act”.

Bidding is restricted to Filipino Citizens/sole proprietorships, or organizations with at least sixty percent (60%) interest of outstanding capital stock belonging to the citizens of the Philippines. The contract shall be awarded to the Lowest Calculated Responsive Bidder (LCRB) who was determined as such during post-qualification.

Interested bidders may obtain further information from the BAC of the Municipal Government of Valderrama, Province of Antique and inspect the Bidding Documents at the address given below during office hours.

A complete set of Bidding Documents may be purchased by interested Bidders from the address given below and upon payment of a non-refundable fee for the Bidding Documents in the amount of Five Thousand Pesos (₱5,000.00). Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address given below. Late bids shall not be accepted.

1. Issuance of Bidding Documents June 15 – 22, 2021 at the BAC Office, Valderrama Municipal Hall from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.

2. Pre-Bid Conference June 23, 2021 – 10:00 AM at the Conference Room, Office of the Municipal Mayor, Valderrama Municipal Hall, Valderrama, Antique.

3. Deadline of Submission and Receipt of Bidding Documents Bids may be submitted on or before July 5, 2021 – 9:00 AM at the BAC Office, Valderrama Municipal Hall, Valderrama, Antique

4. Opening of Bids July 5, 2021 – 9:30 AM at the Conference Room, Office of the Municipal Mayor, Valderrama Municipal Hall, Valderrama, Antique.

Prospective bidders must not be related to the head of the procuring entity or any member of the Bids and Awards Committee or its Secretariat either by consanguinity or affinity up to the third civil degree.

All Bids shall be accompanied by a Bid Security payable to the Local Government Unit of Valderrama, Antique in any of the acceptable forms and in the amount stated in Sec. 27 of RA 9184. The same shall guarantee that, after receipt of the Notice of Award, the winning bidder shall enter into contract with the LGU-Valderrama, Antique within ten (10) calendar days.

The Municipal Government of Valderrama, Antique reserves the right to accept or reject any bid, to annul the bidding process, and to reject all bids at any time prior to contract award, without thereby incurring any liability to the affected bidder or bidders.
