Derbyshire County Council Contract for Seasonal flu vaccinations for Employees of DCC. This opportunity is open to any qualified Derbyshire Pharmacy can join at any time by completing and submitting an s of interest, see attached documents.

Flu vaccination for the Pharmacy d Derbyshire County Council Employee and Foster Carer Seasonal Influenza Vaccination Service runs during the periods of (01 September to 31January) each year on a rolling contract.

Council employees who will be eligible for vaccination are front line employees providing direct care in Adult Care, Children’s Services or to the Council’s foster carers. There are just over 4000 eligible front line employees located across the geographical area of Derbyshire (excluding Derby City) who may take up the offer of being vaccinated at their choice of pharmacy.

The vaccination is to be administered to employees and foster carers who do not have any contraindications, under a private Patient Group Direction (PGD) (set up by the pharmacy contractor) or via a private preion from a pharmacist independent prescriber.

To simplify the process and reduce paperwork we require the Head Office to sign up once on behalf of branches within Derbyshire and Glossop (excluding Derby City). Head office chain to return both the of Interest Appendix Form and Appendix D spreadsheet listing the branches and addresses they are signing up.
