1)Details of Procurement
⑴ Classification of the products to be procured : 71, 27
⑵ Nature and quantity of the product to be procured : Provision of information network and security infrastructure for new broadcasting center 1 set
⑶ Type of procurement : Purchase
⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement
① To provide an information network and security network that will combine the online administrative infrastructure, etc. with the infrastructure controlling the broadcasting systems and other key operations of NHK.
② The infrastructure will be a network with an Internet Protocol, security, user authentication, and allow for remote access, and also include the tools and a system for controlling and monitoring it.
③ There will be arrangements allowing for the overall monitoring and operation of the infrastructure as a whole, including the security components.
④ The infrastructure will bring together, work with and update the wide area network ing the NHK Broadcasting Center and the local NHK stations, and online and cloud s.
⑤ Certain functions in the infrastructure may be segregated if necessary from a security standpoint, etc., or brought together if there are advantages in doing so.
⑥ The infrastructure will have perimeter security and rely on Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA).
⑦ Although the infrastructure will make active use of the cloud, the necessary facilities shall be built on the premises to ensure the continuation of operations.
⑧ The facilities should be able to operate on less power and energy-saving measures will be implemented for the sake of environmental management.
⑨ The security policy adopted for the broadcasting systems shall meet the requirements thereof, d on the recommendations of industry organizations.
