⑴ Classification of the products to be procured : 24
⑵ Nature and quantity of the products to be purchased : Deep-freezing storage and automatic picking system for biological sample tubes system 1 set
⑶ Type of the procurement : Purchase
⑷ Basic requirements of the procurement :
A To have a capacity to store more than 2.8 million 1㎖ sample tubes with 2D barcodes at -80℃.
B All sample storage areas should be redundantly controled by independent freezing systems, and should be able to maintain -80℃ even if a part of the freezing systems is stopped due to failure or maintenance.
C Able to store different sizes and forms of sample tubes.
D The system should automatically control and record the temperature inside the storage and record locations of stored tubes.
E The system should be at least partly equipped with robotics to locate tubes requested by an operator, and automatically pick up and unload them under -80℃ condition (referred to as automated stockers).
F The automated stockers mentioned in E should have a track record of stable operation in Japan.
G Able to automatically load and unload individual tubes as well as tube racks in automated stockers.
H To have long-term stability in its functions, which was demonstrated by actual data.
I Able to connect with a laboratory information management system that will operate in Tohoku Medical Megabank Organization.
