In the Deutsche Oper Berlin, the existing orchestra podiums including switchgear, the
mainland expansion and the stage floor in the area of the orchestra pit will be completely dismantled.
Two new orchestral podiums will be built in double-decker construction with push-chain drives
with a total area of about 100 square meters for the upper table settings. The front podium is
also given a moving podium for the conductor with a lift of 3.75 m. The lift range of
the podiums extends from stage level to -2.70 m.
In addition, two further podiums in the mainland area of the orchestra pit with a
lift of 0.30 m. 5 m with a total area of 30 square meters.
The rest of the mainland area of the orchestra pit will be expanded with accessible levels.
The stage floor will be
renewed in the orchestra pit area, on the podiums and in the mainland area . A new, self-sufficient control system is to be created for the podium system
