providing of imerz for egv berlin (q / s2bc / ma339 / la713) - merz i on egv - berlin is obsolete and has reached its planned end of life. the effort required to keep the merz i ready for use through maintenance measures would be disproportionate to the expected costs. a regeneration of the merz i is therefore urgently required for technical and economic reasons and is also planned due to the end of its useful life. the imerz solution for egv frankfurt am is to be used as a reference design for the replacement of the new imerz. the implementation is to take place while the egv berlin is in the shipyard in 2022/2023 in order to maintain the operational readiness without interruption and in a technically / economically expedient manner.
