the calgary metropolitan region board (“cmrb”) is issuing a request for qualifications from qualified individuals or firms to act as third party consultants in the regional evaluation work (“ref”) process. this request for qualifications (rfq) is seeking qualified consultants to review statutory plans and certain statutory plan amendments on behalf of the cmrb. the role of the qualified consultants selected by the cmrb is to provide written, publicly available comments outlining if a statutory plan or plan amendment submitted through the cmrb’s ref process complies with the approved ref and the approved calgary metropolitan region growth plan (“cmr gp”). on receipt of ministerial order, the cmr gp and ref will come into effect, rescinding the interim growth plan and interim regional evaluation work orders. the cmrb is seeking 4-6 qualified consultants to provide ive third party review consulting services for ref applications.
